Undersea Defence Technology Exhibition 2014
The Undersea Defence Technology Exhibition 2014 (UDT 2014) takes place in Liverpool at the ACC from 10 -12 June
UDT is the underwater defence and security community's dedicated exhibition and conference. It brings together professionals from the military, industry and academia to focus on the cutting edge technologies and developments within one of the harshest environments known to man.
Over 1200 military personnel, industry leaders, researchers and academics attend UDT, which annually provides a world-class platform to discuss technology developments, understand the latest requirements and present innovative solutions that can be exploited in the underwater domain.
The overall theme for the UDT 2014 conference is one of 'Autonomy'. This theme has been specifically chosen to explore the advances in autonomous and semi-autonomous operation for both manned submarines and unmanned platforms and reflects one of the key challenges facing the underwater community, in the quest for cost-effective solutions in the underwater environment.
Valeport uses a COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) technology approach to military requirements that ensures some of the very best sensor technology is available to measure speed of sound, temperature, depth, conductivity, salinity and density on both surface vessels and submarines. Valeport equipment in both standard and bespoke formats is in regular operational use by many Navies worldwide.
Valeport will be exhibiting at UDT 2014, so please come and visit the team on stand C20.
