Every year the members of the team release their inner Mary Berry and bake a fabulous selection of delicious homemade treats to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and this year we didn’t disappoint, not only did we host a mouthwatering bake sale, but a charity auction too!
An eclectic collection of auction lots were up for grabs from surf boards to chandeliers, a cocktail trolley to fire extinguishers; and Jeremy did a sterling job as auctioneer to entertain and raise as much money as possible.
The fun day of impressive fundraising was then further boosted by Valeport MD, Matt Quartley, who agreed to match fund the amount raised, bringing Valeport’s total giving to £2153.56. All of which will be sent to Macmillan to provide essential medical, practical, emotional and financial support for people affected by cancer.
